A physical toggle behind the drip tray lets you set from 3 temperatures (197, 201, or 205 degrees); while a switch on the side of the machine offers two selectable brew modes. For espresso, select ‘Xmode Coffee’ to get the best temp consistency for coffee-only drinks. Switch to ‘Xmode steam’ to increase steam pressure after brewing for better milk frothing.
